The truth is, I have not exercised in a long time and I recently decided to walk to boost my energy and mood. With COVID, being outdoors has been limited for a very long time. This is why I wanted to write about energy and getting the best out of a workout routine.
When you choose snacks that add to your body's wellness e.g. a higher dietary treat like one of my snacks or a granola bar that doesn't have much added sugar (<10g), you can reduce the risk of feeling sluggish and tired very quickly. Proper nourishment is vital. If you exercise without eating anything, you can risk muscle loss and possible fainting.
Snack before! Grab a fruit or energy bar or one of my treats! Feel the difference if you don't trust me. Try it yourself first.
