Chocolate Overnight Oats


Not sure what to have for breakfast?


Prepared this super yummy and easy overnight oats recipe. I'm a chocolate lover so I added more chocolate ^_^




Oat benefits:

> can lower saturated fats

> high dietary fibre

> keeps you full for longer

> heart healthy



















Chocolate chips benefits:

> antioxidant properties

> may reduce heart disease risk

> Can raise HDL (good cholesterol)






















Cinnamon benefits:

> helps to prevent blood sugar spikes

> contains antioxidants with anti-inflammatory effects

> can relieve digestive discomfort




















Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup oats

  • <1 tsp. cinnamon

  • 1 cup low fat/skim/almond/oat milk

  • drops of vanilla essence

  • 2 tsp. cocoa powder

  • 1/2 banana


Method:

Combine all ingredients except for the banana. Place in a jar and slice and add banana to the top. Seal and leave in the fridge. Enjoy in the morning.
