Boil corn

Corn is a high carbohydrate based food. It belongs to the staple family. Usually, it's misunderstood.

Typically, trini's consume corn as a snack or between meals. Other times, corn is used in salads to complete the balance.

  • 5 -6 large corns

  • pinch salt

  • 2-3 grated cilantro leaves


1) To boiling water, add washed corn that was removed from the husk. Add seasonings of choice and allow to boil for 15-20 minutes or until kernels are soft.
