Banana Split Breakfast

This is an easy balanced recipe that takes LESS than 5 minutes!

Yes breakfast is to most important aspect of your day because it's the first meal. You need to nourish your body with nutrient dense foods. Adding more food groups to what you eat is the aim.

Granola (homemade) benefits:

- can help to reduce cholesterol

- high dietary fibre

- low calories

- complex carbohydrate

Mixed nuts:

- positive effect on blood sugar levels

- healthy fats and dietary fiber

- rich in antioxidant properties


  • 1/2 banana

  • 1 oz. mixed nuts

  • 1 tbsp. dark chocolate chips/grated dark chocolate

  • 3 tbsp. granola

  • sprinkle cinnamon


Slice banana in half and then lengthways. Fill the inside with the rest of ingredients. Add optional sprinkle of cinnamon and enjoy!
